We followed four subjects asking them to reflect on their experiences during a time of risk and isolation. Here are their stories.
Juan Carrillo-Dominguez
Juan is a recent graduate of CSUSB but, has worked through the pandemic at his warehouse job while trying to help out his family.
Tedra Rose
Tedra Rose is the owner and operator of Mommie Helen’s Bakery, a beloved hometown establishment that was built by three generations of Black women.
Aurora Gonzalez
Aurora is a cancer survivor and mother of two who survived the pandemic after contracting the virus along with 5 of her other family members.
JT Turner
JT is a stand-up comedian who was gaining momentum before the pandemic as an entertainer and has now had to adjust.
